A yokai from the folklore of Nanto City. It has the body of a large toad and the face of a human. When someone dies, it is said to arrive and remain beside the body as a guardian for three weeks. In the fourth week, it guides the spirit of the deceased to the graveyard. Some traditions say that there are two of these beings, named Senpoku and Kanpoku.
