A giant said to live on Mount Unzen on the Shimabara Peninsula. Good-natured and immensely strong, he will take on major tasks such as clearing and cultivating mountain land in exchange for a heaping portion of miso. Every year, the Misogoro Festival is held in the Sukawa shopping district of Nishi-Arie, drawing large crowds.
