One Piece TCG Ban List Update
The One Piece TCG ban list has been updated, bringing major changes to tournament play. With OP10 – Royal Blood on the horizon, these adjustments aim to rebalance the competitive scene and promote more diverse deck-building.
Farewell, Gecko Moria (OP06-086)
Since its debut in Wings of the Captain (OP-06), Gecko Moria has been the ultimate endgame engine for Black decks, racking up 1,500+ top finishes. Its synergy with Rob Lucci (OP07-079), Monkey D. Luffy (ST13-003), and Sakazuki (OP05-041) made it an auto-include, limiting deck diversity. While a powerhouse, its dominance made this ban a necessary balance move.
Jinbe (OP07-045) Banned
One of Doflamingo’s strongest enablers, Jinbe (OP07-045), is now banned. This card supercharged the deck’s early-game high-roll potential, making it far too consistent. By removing Jinbe, Doflamingo remains viable while reducing its overwhelming power.
These changes pave the way for a healthier meta and new strategies in upcoming tournaments. Will these bans shake up the top-tier decks, or will players find new ways to dominate?
