Get Ready for Luxury Pulls in Core Boosters Again
It’s happening—Starlight Rares are almost definitely returning to core booster sets, starting with Duelist Advance this summer! In the OCG, this set includes 20 Prismatic Secret Rares (basically their version of Starlights), so unless the TCG drops a brand-new rarity, we’re looking at the return of Starlight Rares in core boosters.
But what about other sets?
While Starlights coming back answers the luxury rarity question for core sets, it doesn’t clarify how they’ll fit into Battles of Legend, yearly Tins, or Rarity Collection-style releases. QCSRs are much more accessible, while Starlights have always been ultra-exclusive, keeping their value sky-high.
So what does this mean? Expect Starlight Rares to remain premium pulls in core sets, and not become easily available through Tins or mass promos. If you’re a collector or investor, it’s time to start watching those set lists closely!
What do you think? Are you excited for Starlight Rares to return? Or do you prefer the newer QCSRs? Let’s talk in the comments!
