Astrologian’s Planisphere is quickly becoming the go-to replacement for the recently banned Cori-Steel Cutter in Standard’s Izzet Prowess deck. While not an exact match, the Planisphere brings plenty of value to the table.
Each time you cast a noncreature spell or draw your third card in a turn, you’ll create a 1/1 Hero token and place a +1/+1 counter on the equipped creature. This makes it a powerful pseudo-Prowess effect that keeps the pressure up without pushing the deck over the top.
