The Savage Game deck combines Gamekeeper and Auriok Salvagers to deliver an incredibly creative and unique strategy. Its goal? Infinite Mana and Infinite Damage—here’s how it works:
Key Combo:
Use Auriok Salvagers and Lion’s Eye Diamond to generate infinite mana.
Draw through your deck with Chromatic Sphere until you find Pyrite Spellbomb to deal infinite damage!
Protection:
Cabal Therapy and Duress for disruption.
Krosan Reclamation to fight graveyard hate and reuse key cards.
Why It’s Rarely Played Today:
Although innovative, Savage Game is vulnerable to the same counters as Dredge decks, like graveyard hate, while requiring a 4-mana creature and key combo pieces to work. In competitive Legacy, Dredge is often the stronger choice.
